Our Foundations

Movement is vital for modern ice hockey goaltending because it directly impacts a goalie’s ability to position themselves effectively and respond to the fast-paced dynamics of the game. Being able to move is always the first step. In essence, movement is key to maximising a goaltender's performance.

Positioning is crucial for modern ice hockey goalies because it determines their ability to effectively cover the net and respond to shots. By maintaining an optimal stance and angle relative to the puck and opposing players, goalies can maximize their coverage and minimize open space for shooters.

Who We Are

Past:

We’ve been doing this for a while. Starting with Gary Brine for over 40 years, he’s played the game, studied it, coached countless goalies, and continues to evolve to the modern game to this day.

Present:

Continuing with our current director of goaltending. Lucas Brine, a GB national and EIHL goaltender, is the one on the ice passing on everything he’s been taught to get him to where he is now.

Our main goal is to build the next generation of British goalies. The game is constantly changing and so are we. With us you can build your game to become a Future Pro.

We are fortunate enough to have partnered with CCM UK to bring their goalie gear to our students. We can offer everything from Pads and Gloves, to skates and Helmets and everything in between. We aim to give our goalies the best possible prices, expertise advice on sizing and what models would be best for your game!
